 A’Lan
is larger that Apollo, but it is proportionally dimmer and so it gives
off a similar amount of light. Because of this, it would appear almost
three times as large in the sky than Apollo. There are six planets
in orbit around A’Lan: Inatia, Fortaria, Trillian, Antaera,
Ryad, and Caenis. Inatia is a gas planet in a very close orbit to
A’Lan completing a full revolution in just 3 months. Fortaria
is similar in size to Earth and is the homeworld of the Andarians
and Garians. Trillian is the smallest inhabited planet in the UTF
and is the homeworld of the Necrons and Grimalkins. Ryad has an unusual
orbit that takes it with the orbit of the inner planets every few
years. Its close proximity during those times usually results in violent
storms and atmospheric instability on Trillian and Fortaria.
Antaera is a beautiful
green gas giant with striking rings around it, much like Saturn. Caenis is
the furthest planet from A’Lan and is nothing more than a
cold rock, rich in minerals but with no atmosphere.
